Our Lady and St Peter, Aldeburgh
Aldeburgh is situated on the Suffolk coast and the church of Our Lady and St Peter is by the top of the Town Steps where you can see parts of the High Street and the sea beyond.
The Church was built around 1920 and its flint rendering is typically Suffolk as was the original round tower to the North. The church was badly damaged during WWII and the tower was lost.
The Stations of the Cross include modern depictions of the passion of Christ and are highly thought of.
All Saints, Leiston
Leiston has a rich industrial heritage due to the Garrett Engineering Works but is also home to the remains of the 14th-century Leiston Abbey to the north-west of the town.
All Saints was built around the 1960s and a foundation stone records it as being laid by Bishop Leo of Northampton in 1963. The Pope at the time being Paul VI.
